THE HEALTHY BODY:

Practical Knowledge to Reduce Pain and Restore Back and Joint Function

Tuesdays & Thursdays,10/23-11/8

 6-7:30pm
Cost: $160

The human organism is a complex machine and how we use it can profoundly affect our health. So many of us suffer from chronic back trouble and joint pain caused by our own everyday habits. The good news is that this pain is preventable, and it begins and ends with YOU. Many therapeutic treatments address the symptoms of musculoskeletal dysfunction. At the Dimon Institute, we teach an educational model that is based on a unique and practical understanding of how the body works. Over the course of three weeks, you will learn how to address musculoskeletal conditions that are the source of chronic pain, and take steps toward preventing it in the future.

What You'll Learn:

      1. Gain insight into why we have chronic pain

      2. A daily practice for restoring healthy function of muscles

      3. Thinking exercises to quiet and calm the mind/body

      4. How to develop kinesthetic awareness

      5. Tools to begin noticing harmful habits in everyday life, and improve "use"
